In this key position, I determined both technical and business goals in consultation with top management to develop detailed plans for the accomplishment of these goals. With careful planning, I coordinated activities such as installation and upgrading of hardware and software, programming and systems design, development of computer networks, and implementation of Internet and intranet sites. Due to the rapid pace of technological change, I have to be on the lookout for technological advancements that benefit my organization. I designed and developed database applications using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 specifically for departmental daily activities (Management, Billing, Accounting, Human Resources). Using both Microsoft .net Architecture and HTML/Active Server Pages as front end interfaces. Developed and maintained standards for the SQL Database environment while managing the security, backup, recovery, and replication procedures for all database instances. Modified database programs to increase processor performance. I Provided support as a consultant, mentor, and a teacher on various software applications and analytical reports as needed.
